We are filled with gratitude as we reflect on the significant impact we made in our community in 2025. We were blessed to welcome numerous new families and help many people take the next step in their faith journey. This year, we were honored to host the City of Pharr Mayor's Prayer Luncheon, an annual event where city, state, and community leaders unite for the National Day of Prayer. We added our second Sunday service, gathered for worship at many events throughout the year, and deepened our relationships with God and one another.

CELEBRATING  BAPTISMS

It is always a joy to celebrate new beginnings through baptism.  This year, we were the only church in the RGV that participated in the national event, Baptize America, where thousands of people across the country were baptized on the same day. A big congratulations to everyone who took their next step of baptism last year.  Through Christ, we are made new, the old is gone, and the new is here!

COMMUNITY AT DTC!

Marriage
We believe in marriage and helping couples grow stronger in their relationship.  When the marriage is strong and healthy, the family is as well.  Every year, we invest in families at our annual marriage event.
DTC Kidz & Youth
Our kids and youth ministries were growing and thriving as we stepped out one year and into the next.  Every month, we serve over 200 kids and youth through our multiple age-appropriate classes.  In this environment, we are helping to nurture God-given gifts and talents.
Young Adults
This year, we relaunched our Young Adult community. We are excited to continue growing and developing the next generation of leaders who will make a difference in the church and community.

BACK TO SCHOOL OUTREACH

Every year, we organize a back-to-school outreach and give away backpacks and school supplies to children in our community.  This year, we partnered with two of our members, David and Priscilla Flores, owners of MSK shoes, who donated 82 pairs of new shoes to bless students as they started the new school year.

Christmas Toy Drive

The Christmas season reminds us of the greatest gift we have all received in Christ and how we are blessed to be a blessing.  Together, our church family gathered over 350 toys through our Christmas Toy Drive that were given away to children living in local colonias. The smile on their faces as they received those gifts was worth the sacrifice.
As we move forward into the new year, we are ready to grow, eager to make a difference, and can only imagine the plans God has for us. The best is yet to come!

“Therefor,e go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
-Jesus
